Context & Problem
Incremental was a university project in which we designed and executed an interactive exhibition on Argentina’s housing crisis. The installation combined video projection, mapping, lighting, and multichannel sound, merging information and interaction to create an engaging experience for visitors.
The challenge was to balance informative content, immersive experience, and active participation so that the audience could:
Learn about the housing crisis.
Understand the importance of identity in standardized neighborhoods.
Empathize with those living in these conditions.
Experience an interactive installation without losing the seriousness of the topic.

Process & Role
I led the overall experience design, integrating various elements to create a cohesive and engaging installation:
Developed the narrative script.
Programmed the interactive interface in p5.js and integrated it with Resolume Arena.
Designed and programmed interactive totems using TouchDesigner and Blender.
Created mapping, lighting, and multichannel sound elements.
Produced animations and video editing.
The process involved:
Research: Gathering information on the housing crisis and Aravena’s project.
Experience design: Developing the script, wireframes, and interaction flows.
Visual & technical development: Producing videos, lighting design, and quadraphonic sound.
Implementation: Programming the interface and assembling the physical installation.

Results & Impact
✔ Two interactive stations:
A welcome area with facial recognition on interactive screens.
A main room with projection, quadraphonic sound, and iPad-controlled interaction.
✔ An immersive experience that blended information, engagement, and empathy, helping visitors understand the housing crisis in a meaningful way.
