Context & Problem
Dosmilera was an academic project that explored the resurgence of 2000s aesthetics, transformed and adapted by today's generation. The exhibition featured a selection of Argentinian design objects, immersing visitors in the essence of the Y2K era—heavily influenced by the rise of digital culture and the exaggerated aesthetics of the new millennium.
The core concept revolved around the cyclical nature of design and culture, where trends resurface approximately every 20 years, reinterpreted through contemporary perspectives. The exhibition did not aim to merely recreate the past but to present a renewed vision of the Y2K aesthetic—a fusion of nostalgia with modern techniques, ideas, and styles: Updated Nostalgia.
The challenge was twofold:
Represent this concept through a curated selection of design objects and an exhibition experience.
Develop a visual identity that captured the Y2K spirit without feeling outdated, embracing the balance between nostalgia and reinvention.

Process & Role
I led the development of the concept, visual identity, and exhibition design, ensuring a cohesive narrative across physical and digital elements:
Defined the curatorial concept, structuring the exhibition’s theme and visitor journey.
Designed a visual identity system that reflected Y2K aesthetics while maintaining a fresh and contemporary feel.
Created graphics, signage, and exhibition materials that guided the audience through the space.
Developed an immersive experience combining iconic design objects, large-scale visuals, and interactive elements to evoke emotional and nostalgic connections.
The process involved:
Research & References: Studied the visual culture of the 2000s, analyzing its influence on contemporary fashion and design.
Identity Design: Created a system with vibrant colors, exaggerated typography, and graphical elements that referenced Y2K while maintaining a modern reinterpretation.
Exhibition Experience: Designed a multi-layered display where past and present coexisted, allowing visitors to engage with the evolution of 2000s aesthetics in a meaningful way.
