Context & Problem
This project was developed for a Hermès design competition, where participants were tasked with conceptualizing and designing a window display based on the theme of the year: lightness. The challenge was to create a visually striking exhibition that not only reflected this theme but also captured the essence of the brand, its elegance, and artisanal craftsmanship.
The concept was built around our insignificance in the vastness of the universe—the idea that beyond our small planet, there is something superior, unimaginable, and extraordinary. How light we are, how little weight we hold in the infinity of space.
This vision inspired the creation of a floating world, composed of surreal nature, evoking a sense of fantasy and wonder toward the unknown. Within this utopian universe, Liana, a mystical fairy, embarks on a journey to find her place of belonging.
The project included the design of:
Two large window displays for each storefront.
Two smaller jewelry displays.
Concept development, product curation, technical plans, and detailed visualizations for the final execution.
